Build Realtime IoT Data Pipelines Using Spark – LIVE DEMO!

This session will present a real world use case showing how IoT data from flight information can be quickly and easily ingested to develop an IoT application using Apache Spark.

The live demo will include:

• Ingestion of data in realtime from Flights including location, velocity etc.
• Generating or updating predictive models by running background batch jobs
• Explore and perform data analytics on the transformed data using popular BI tools

Gokul Gunaskeran is a software engineer at Cask where he is building software to enable the next generation of data applications. Prior to Cask, he worked on Architecture Performance and Workload Analysis at Oracle.
