Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Spectrum Optimization Subject Matter Expert (SME) with hands-on experience in frequency management with focus on self and third party interference mitigation within the unlicensed 5GHz band. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing solutions that enhance link quality, minimize service impacts, and ensure SLA compliance in complex network environments. This project involves addressing challenges related to frequency interference among service providers, ISPs, and system integrators, requiring innovative approaches and robust technical expertise. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyse and diagnose self and third-party interference issues within the 5GHz band.  
  • Develop and refine solutions to optimize spectrum usage, reduce interference, and enhance service quality, including the implementation of a Link Quality Indicator and a Self-Organizing Network tool. 
  • Develop understanding of already existing tool used to indicate link degradation. 
  • Is comfortable in analysing large data and develop KPIs for indicating link degradation and interference. 
  • Can assess spectrum usage and interference levels effectively across multiple data points 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate spectrum optimization solutions  

Requirements: 

  • Extensive hands-on experience in spectrum analysis, frequency management, and interference mitigation within the 5GHz band. 
  • Strong background in network engineering, particularly in multi-vendor environments. 
  • Familiarity with network management systems and optimization tools 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience in training and supporting network operations teams. 
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning and with Prescriptive Data Analysis (Optional)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team on a 3-month contract basis, with the potential for extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Science with expertise in Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Python programming. You will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics methodologies to develop robust solutions, primarily focusing on Regression Analysis and related problem statements.

Essential Experiences: 

  • Strong track record in successfully delivering Data Science solutions; min. 5+ years relevant experience 
  • Experienced in building Regression related problem statements with various advanced analytics methodologies such as Linear Regression, Decision tree regressor, ANN or RNN, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Further applications (clustering, classification, segmentation etc.) of Data Sciences 
  • Experience in working with Sage Maker 
  • Experience is model development and in performing model validation to support the integrity and improve the accuracy of the model 
  • Responsible for cleansing, filtering, and refactoring complex data from different sources, further analyzing, and investigating it to identify how they can be used to generate a model with high accuracy. 
  • Strong experience with Python 
  • Strong experience in using different Machine learning algorithms 
  • Strong skills in statistical analyses with abilities in advanced data management and statistical programming using Python 
  • Experience in visualizing insights from exploratory analysis for non-technical audience. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing (Hadoop, Spark). 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their Machine Learning services. 
  • Publications or contributions to the Data Science community (blogs, research papers, open-source projects). 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in delivering Data Science solutions in a professional environment. 
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling. 
  • Expertise in applying Machine Learning algorithms such as SVM, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, etc. 
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Neural Networks. 
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and their application in Data Science. 
  • Experience with Sage Maker or similar tools for model development and deployment. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
