As a Power BI Specialist you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Power BI reports. To do this, you will have to work closely with the stakeholders, understanding its requirements and being able to apply them. Data Modeling, data transformation, Power BI reports and dashboards design, and strong communication skills are the key for this role. 

Requirements 

  • 3 or more years of experience working with Power BI (required) 
  • 4 or more years of experience in data analysis (required) 
  • Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, etc.) 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Strong skills in Data Analysis. 

Responsibilities 

  • Creation and maintenance of interactive Power BI reports and dashboards. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into amazing and beautiful Power BI reports. 
  • Extract, transform and load the data into Microsoft Fabric tables to consume them in the Power BI Reports. 
  • Responsible for creation, manipulation, and maintenance of semantic models. 
  • Workspaces administration including workspaces creation, cleansing, organization of different Microsoft fabric elements including Lakehouses, reports, dashboards, semantic models, etc. 
  • Responsible for Microsoft Fabric elements migration from dev to prod environments. 
  • Collaborate with frontend team for reports embedding. 
  • Responsible for data creation according to business requirements. 
  • Develop and implement DAX measures and calculated columns. 
  • Responsible for ensuring excellent performance of power bi reports and dashboards. 
  • Work with power query editor to change data source settings, make all the necessary transformations and tables organizations including naming and organization into folders and sub-folders. 
  • Collaborate with the team and attend all the necessary calls to handover properly what has been done and what is pending to do. 

Skills 

  • Strong knowledge in Power Query (transform data, manage data source settings, M language, parameters creation) 
  • Strong experience working with different data sources like SQL, ADLS, Snowflake, Synapse, etc. 
  • Excellent knowledge in Direct Lake, Direct Query, and Import Mode. 
  • Strong experience in DAX (measures and calculated columns). 
  • Ability to create the data models and the relationships between the tables. 
  • Strong skills in Power BI reports design. 
  • Experience working with RLS and CLS. 
  • Strong knowledge In Dashboard creation. 
  • Workspaces administration including cleansing, permissions, and semantic models’ settings. 
  • Proven experience designing and implementing data models. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relationships skills. 

Salary: 6LPA – 8LPA

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industry experience in predictive & algorithmic modeling, data science, and data analysis. 
  • Experience with ML fields, e.g., predictive analytics and financial modeling, statistical learning theory. 
  • Experience with maintaining and monitoring ML models in a production environment 
  • Expertise in modelling, analysis & building systems using Python. 
  • Experience in diving into data to discover hidden patterns, using data visualization tools, writing SQL, and working with modern tools to develop models 
  • Experience writing and speaking about technical concepts to business, technical, and lay audiences and giving data-driven presentations

Main task/activity

• Project Lead for S/4HANA rollouts
• Scope implementation consists of domains Source-2-Pay (S2P), Book-2-Report (B2R), Bill-2-Cash (B2C), Hire-2-Retire (H2R) and the associated master data (MDM).
• Steer a team of global experts and local specialists based on the S/4HANA industrialized procedures and standardized rollout work packages.
• Responsible for planning, executing and delivering projects within specified timelines, budget, scope and quality standards while ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Track project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion
