Role Overview:
As a Business Development Executive – IT Sales, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and closing sales deals within the tech industry. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of IT products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research
- Understand client needs and recommend appropriate IT solutions and services
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue targets
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements
- Maintain a strong pipeline and use CRM tools to track progress and client interactions
- Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences to stay updated on trends and expand the network
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT or technology solutions
- Strong understanding of IT products and services (e.g., software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite)
