Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Develop CV ML models to automate image quality assessment for Field Asset Inspection (part of Wildfire Mitigation Program).
Key deliverables:
- Models to Identify the asset, detect components of asset, assess the angles and coverage, occlusion and blur detection
- Productionize the models into an ML pipeline on Azure
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The team delivered the models in time, was able to adapt to changing requirements (e.g., changes in pole tag formats), and also met model performance metric targets.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Yes, they delivered 4/6 models in time, scope and quality. 2/6 were below the expected performance due to technical complexity and their novelty; so we didn’t deploy them They were very cooperative and collaborative to meet our needs. They brought in their best to support us.
