Kobie Marketing: an agentic AI platform for loyalty operations

Kobie Marketing builds and runs loyalty programmes for some of the world’s most recognised brands, providing both the strategy and the technology behind them. Running loyalty at that scale involves a constant stream of operational work: programme rules, tiers, earning and redemption, communications, fraud, accounts and the vendors behind the rewards. Most of it is judgement applied repeatedly.

Conversational framework and agentic automation platform

ThirdEye Data is building a generative AI conversational framework and an agentic automation platform that spans both sides of Kobie’s business, the agents that face Kobie’s own teams and the ones that face programme members.

On the member side, the bots are deliberately part scripted and part model driven, with the model supporting the conversation rather than owning it, and they make personalised recommendations within that structure. In loyalty, where an answer about someone’s points balance has to be correct, a fully open conversation is the wrong design.

On the internal side, agents provide guidance in whatever form the question calls for: conversation, the underlying data, an insight, or interactive graphs that respond to what the person is examining. Above them sits workflow coordination that brings multiple agents together on tasks that span more than one part of the operation.

The scope covers twelve operational use cases, including building and simulating audiences, member conversation, merging customer records, managing programme features, tiers, earning rules and bonuses, coupons and redemptions, fraud management, programme communications, account management and vendor management.

What makes this a genuine agentic system rather than a set of chatbots is that the work is coordinated. An audience question that turns into a tier question that turns into a communications question is handled as one piece of work rather than three conversations.

A multi-agent system covering twelve loyalty operations use cases, in development since July 2025.

Related solution: agentic AI for business operations

Agentic AI gets described as automation and is better understood as coordination. A single assistant answering questions is useful and limited. The value appears when several specialised agents work on one piece of business that crosses functions, and something decides which of them does what and in which order.

That coordination layer is the hard engineering, and it is where most projects stall. ThirdEye Data builds it as the foundation rather than as something added once individual agents work, because retrofitting coordination onto agents designed to operate alone rarely succeeds. We are equally deliberate about where agents should not be autonomous: in a loyalty programme, a balance or a redemption has to be right, so the design constrains the conversation rather than opening it. We are building this today for loyalty operations at consumer brand scale, and adjacent agentic work spans retail merchandising, telecom network operations and customer care.
